Dontay Holloway the CEO of TK Enterprise grew up in poverty. Born and raised in the projects of East Los Angeles, there was nothing to do but rise up and make a better life for himself. It was a struggle but he soon found his niche in sports. To keep him away from gangs and trouble he was bused out of Los Angeles to get a better education. Although his father always told him sports would not last forever, it became his main focus. At the age of fourteen he became one of the top student athletes in his high school in both basketball and football. With his future looking bright Dontay still wanted more so he started his first business, a clothing line. It lasted all of 3 months as he then understood all the hard work it took to run a business and juggle school and sports. Putting his entrepreneurial dreams on hold, Dontay concentrated solely on sports. He became talk of the town as a high school sophomore recruit. At the end of his sophomore year, Dontay lost his father which lead to him losing focus of his dreams. After his senior year, the soon to be college recruit, lost it all. He went to JAIL. As Dontay says "This is where I refocused and became determined never to give up again." One month after being release from jail, Dontay received a scholarship to play football at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. He graduated with a bachelors in Business Management and went on to follow his dreams of playing semi pro football and also started another business, which he still owns today. Dontay now shares his story at high schools to encourage kids to never give up. When Dontay started TK Enterprise it was to create a family of like minded people he could surround himself with. Once again his dreams have become reality, with his company stretching across 12 different U.S. States and globally in 6 different countries. Dontay's dream to create a place where his whole team can feel at home is only the beginning.
